Who we are

I’m Hannah Hormigo — I collect one-off vintage from NYC and international street fairs, then remake each piece into a wearable story.

Why the Red Bag Shop

I started The Red Bag Shop because I love the story behind clothes. I hunt for pieces with character — tiny repairs, interesting labels, bold prints — then clean, tweak, and style them so they feel fresh and wearable today. Everything here is one-of-a-kind: no mass selling, no fast-fashion scraps. Just garments that lasted once and deserve another life.

Colors

The Red Bag Shop treats color as character. Many of our shoots pair garments with tones or objects that echo their mood — a white blouse beside a swan, a red dress against brick or sun. The idea is simple: let colors talk to each other and set emotion in an image. Some pieces are styled this way, others stay minimal, but all follow the same instinct — to make the photo feel cinematic rather than commercial.

My international perspective

Most of my stock comes from local thrift runs, estate finds, careful trades, and international street fairs during trips abroad. Those trips shape how I collect: I look for pieces that reveal culture, history, and craft. I also listen — learning about local communities, the challenges they face, and ways to help when I can. That global perspective influences the items I choose and how I repair or rework them.

How I work

Shipping & returns

Shipping is based in NYC; I pack with care, ship in recycled mailers, and always include tracking. Returns are fair and simple — each listing explains the policy so you know what to expect. If you have a specific question about shipping or a piece, use the Contact page and I’ll reply within 48 hours.
